Those are not just sites I have some brushes, textures etc. from, but also sites that I think are worth mentioning because they have a wonderful collection of freeware / linkware goodies. If you haven't found what you were looking for, yet, maybe you can find it on one of those sites.
Even if they aren't being updated anymore, or haven't been for a long time, the goodies are usually still available and that's the important part, right?
